Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Inova Health Systems.

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Must be able to read and interpret ECG
Should have experience with post op care specific to GI, NGT and Surgical wounds. Occasional joint/hip replacement patients.
Occasional trach and chest tube but needs to be have this experience
Required Credentials: ECG exam required - pass/fail - one attempt - study guide and study session available

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: As needed
Floating Requirement: First to Float (Med, Surg, Tele, Ortho)
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
