Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given the first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med surg unit.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients. - Telemetry ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. - Proof of Identification: Driver’s License / State ID
Shift & Scheduling: - Not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to the West Burlington or Henry County campus at times. - Floating to ACU is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.
7 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required
