Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• ASN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Required Skills/Experience:
• Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, solid written and oral communication skills, ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels, and experience reading telemetry strips.
• Chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, drain & tubes, PCA pumps
• Gtts management – Amiodarone (occasionally), Fentanyl PCA, Ketamine PCA, Dilaudid PCA, Heparin
Required Credentials: ASN / BSN
Unit/Facility Details: Free employee parking
Special Requests: Will accept a first-time traveler dependent on experience. Must have a strong background in MST.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: Ever other weekend
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
Floating Requirements: To other MedSurg units.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
