Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health.

Additional Details:

RTO is due at time of submission. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (peak: August–September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process.

Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience.

Special Requests: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No on call required.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
