Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1800 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with surgical patients.

Unit Details: - Cares for total hip and total knee replacement, bariatric surgery, urology surgical, spine surgery, and GYN procedure patients. - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation: every other; unit currently operates Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday need. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Minimal floating required; could float to the medical surgical unit if needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
