Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1930 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience reading telemetry strips required. Strong IV skills required.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. No call.

Unit Details: General medicine patients are primarily adults age 65 and older with geriatric-related diagnoses, including diabetes, gastrointestinal, respiratory, renal, and wound conditions. Patients are functional, community-dwelling adults, and mobilization is emphasized. Wound care and dressing changes are performed. The unit has 3-4 bed turnovers. Telemetry monitoring is centralized. The unit uses Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing.

Floating Requirements: Floats to 8 Reynolds, 8 North, 9 North A/B, 9 Ardmore, 10 Ardmore, 8 North-B, and 8 Ardmore.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
