Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac rhythm interpretation; experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone — ask manager approval if no experience); general medical/surgical skillset, including care of patients with tubes/drains, IV starts, blood products, and wound care/dressing changes.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes ESRD, CHF, pneumonia, sickle cell crisis, diabetes/DKA, wounds, and acute/chronic renal failure. Mostly medical, with few surgical patients. - Starting Spring 2026, this unit will have hematology/oncology patients. Travelers must be comfortable caring for these patients; chemotherapy administration is only allowed if ONS-certified. - RN ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6 (critical surge 1:7-8). - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, Rover communication, and Hoyer lifts.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Floating within region and scope of practice. - Required to float per region needs to Region 2 facilities: Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children’s Hospital).
14 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
