Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1960 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Credentials

• Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Pharmacology Exam (Pharmacology 1 or 2) required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years.

Special Requests

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details

• Cares for medical-surgical patients, including those requiring cardiac telemetry.
• Virtual sitter monitoring and monitor technicians are available for telemetry monitoring.
• Patient population includes all ages.

Shift & Scheduling

• Travelers are required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.
• Holiday work will be required based on department needs.
