Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 24 months (2 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Strong proficiency and experience working on cardiac/tele and Med-Tele units required. Must be able to comfortably follow department expectations to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials: Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

Special Requests: Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; RTO requests after upload will not be approved. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.

Unit Details: This is a remote telemetry unit caring mainly for telemetry/cardiac patients. The patient population is adult and geriatric. Patients require close and continuous cardiac monitoring due to cardiovascular disease or other cardiac conditions. RNs are critically involved in planning and treatment of these patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better). No call.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
