Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1990 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <45 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be competent with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and have knowledge of titration and application of these medications. Must be competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms. Must possess knowledge of signs/symptoms of stroke, recognize change in patient status and intervene.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: All travelers are expected/required to float to units within their scope of practice and skill set if necessary. If a traveler refuses to float, Lima reserves the right to send the traveler home without pay for the entire work week.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
