Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 46 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months between Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU.
Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Accessing/Managing Ports, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, IV insulin protocols.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)/Night 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 07:30)
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
