Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
• ASN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate HR but not BP
IV insertion and care, central line management
Wound care and post op monitoring
Groin management
Foley insertion, care and maintenance
Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Discharge planning and patient education, particularly on renal and fluid management
Required Credentials: BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) – meaning traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of Compliance
**Education: ASN/BSN
Unit / Facility Details: Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks
Shift & Scheduling: No Call Requirement
Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)
Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Schedule Cycle: Every 6 weeks
Floating Requirements: All med surg / telemetry units
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission
