Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2010 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.
Management of dysrhythmias is required.
On-unit telemetry monitoring is required.
Use of rapid response/code teams is required.
Feeding tube care and management is required.
Blood product administration is required.
Phlebotomy is required.

Required Credentials:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Parking permits cost $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days for WMC, $196.20/year for WB, and $393.96/year for CXS. WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits; WMC is available monthly. WB parking includes shuttle service.

Unit Details:
The unit serves an adult patient population.
Patient ratios are 1:4 for MS and 1:3 for PCU.
The unit provides mixed-acuity care for transplant and hepatology patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

OSU requires all fingerprints to be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract for an OSU assignment. This is a client requirement, and timely completion is essential to maintaining the assignment and avoiding delays, pushes or cancellations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
