Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: PCU experience is not required. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program.

Shift & Scheduling: Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends.

Floating Requirements: Float to lower-acuity units if needed, including different units within the OSU organization.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed medical-surgical/PCU unit with transitional beds. Med-surg procedures include Foley catheter care, PICC care, IV therapy, IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, peritoneal dialysis, and lumbar puncture. Patients include general medical cases, opioid abuse, organ failure, changes in level of consciousness, behavioral issues, and MRDD/developmental delay issues.
