Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. The WMC permit is available monthly and costs $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days, with 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage. The WB annual permit costs $196.20/year and the CXS annual permit costs $393.96/year; both require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. WB parking is in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center; the Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes. WB and CXS permits provide access to 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; WB/WC, Buckeye CX and West Campus lots are available 24/7. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m.; regular hourly garage rates apply outside those hours.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient ratios vary by unit area: PCU 1:3 and Med-Surg 1:4.
