Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Work history/resume must show 24 months of current Med Surg / Med Surg-Tele experience. - Ortho/orthopedic and general surgery care experience required. - Drip experience: Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone. - First-time travelers accepted; must have 24 months minimum of current nursing experience.

Special Requests: - Past UnityPoint Health employees, including FTE and PRN float pool staff, cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or worked there within the past 12 months. This does not apply to prior travel staff.

Unit Details: - Telemetry, post-op surgical, ortho, and general surgery patient population. - Responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every 3rd weekend. - Holiday rotation if scheduled.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
