Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Required Credentials: - Must pass the dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% within two attempts prior to signing contract; failing to do so will result in DNU status for CommonSpirit Arizona and Sacramento for 6 months.
Required Skills/Experience: - Reading basic telemetry strips. - Some experience with CVA and TIA. - Total joint replacement experience.
Unit Details: - Cardiac/medical telemetry patients including CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetes, post-cath, and total joint replacement cases. - Diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set rate only; no titratable drips. - Monitor techs are on the unit; RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift. - Nurse aides available with ratios of 1:10-15. - Uses BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments.
Shift & Scheduling: - Self-scheduling is used; schedules are made 4 weeks at a time and finalized by the manager. - 2 weekends per 4-week schedule. - For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, expected holiday coverage is 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - First to float; may float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
