Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2080 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 1 month of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Michigan license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) is required. - TURP experience is required. - Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) experience is required. - Plastic surgery experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Two years minimum experience is preferred. - Bariatric experience is preferred. - Aneurysm experience is preferred. - External ventricular drain (EVD) experience is preferred. - BiPAP experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - The unit has no in-house CRNA; an NP is available during the day. - The unit receives additional admissions from D, trauma surgery, and general surgery. - Open-heart cases are no longer performed. - The patient population includes adolescents age 14 and older; parents must be present. - No titratable drips are used.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
