Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2090 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any).

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract—no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders as soon as possible after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network—must have left in good status, if a former employee.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Telemetry is performed in most areas of PMMC; cardiac issues involving symptomatic rate control or closer monitoring, but not requiring ICU care, are managed on 2 West.
2 West is currently the PUI/COVID unit and entails full training with PPE.
Main diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke, renal disease, COPD, alcohol and drug withdrawal, and other various medical conditions.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call required; placed on call due to census.
Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements:
Floating between units is required to meet unit needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
