Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required. PICC team is the IV team; however, RN must be competent in placing IVs. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; use of rapid response/code teams; peripheral line care/management; nasal cannula; oxygen administration; oxygen tanks; non-invasive airway management; isolation precautions.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Special Requests: Block schedule requests will be tried but are not guaranteed. Minimal RTO please.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Overflow med/surg tele unit accommodating ED boarder patients. Flex space inside GI Endoscopy; patient volume may increase or decrease depending on demand and boarder numbers. Patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:7 nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. 4 weekend shifts per contract.

Floating Requirements: May float to ED Holding patients also.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
