Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2100 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 4:1 for Tele and 5:1 for MS/Swing.
The unit uses the Pyxis medication system.
The unit uses iPause for communication.
No IV team is available.
Pharmacy is on site during days and remote at night.
Phlebotomy is available 24/7.
No unit secretary is available.
Intensivist coverage is remote only.
Hospitalist coverage is on site during the day and off site at night.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends follow a rotating schedule.
Set patterns are available, plus open shifts you can pick up.

Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
Floating to the ED for admission holds may sometimes be required.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
