Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience: Nurses must have experience or skills in medical cardiac care.
Special Requests: Both self-scheduling and block scheduling are allowed. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 during the 7 AM shift and 1:6 during the 7 PM shift. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common drips include Amiodarone (Amio), Heparin (Hep), Insulin, and Cardizem. Common diagnoses include medical cardiac conditions, specifically congestive heart failure (CHF). High-flow oxygen and BiPAP are used for less than 24 hours; RNs are not required to manage these beyond troubleshooting. Virtual monitoring is used, and RNs are responsible for reading their own ECG strips on GE telemetry monitors.
Shift & Scheduling: Nurses work every other weekend or less. Holiday shifts are assigned on a rotation basis. On-call is required as a last resort for travelers.
