Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required skills/experience: Recent inpatient medical-surgical experience required.

Shift & schedule requirements: RNs would be scheduled Monday through Friday. 12 hour shifts - Scheduling pattern may include weekdays and/or weeknights based on coverage needs.

Floating requirements: This role is specifically for caring for admitted boarder patients located within the Emergency Department. RNs are not expected to take regular ED patient assignments. Assignment will remain within the ED boarder care model. RNs may care for patients of varying acuity consistent with their skill set. If departmental or organizational needs change, RNs may be required to temporarily provide care in another unit within their clinical competency and skill set.

Unit and facility details: Provide inpatient-level nursing care to admitted patients boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting transfer to an inpatient bed.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
