Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2150 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin titration, and Amiodarone.

Special Requests: Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, no matter which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply. Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Unit Details: Types of patients/surgeries include cardiac, stroke, and general medical.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day).

Floating Requirements: Float to 3A and 4A. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
