Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 2 years of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips required. Minimum of 2 years working in one location and 2 years working as a Traveler.

Unit Details: Phippen 6/7 is an Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit that admits medical-patient overflow. Patient population includes scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fractures, neuro patients, and other medical-patient overflow. Day and evening shifts are 1:4, may go up to 5; night shift is 1:5 or 6.

Shift & Scheduling: This role is a rotating shift. Every other weekend. Shift time: 19:00-07:30. Day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Rotation frequency: low. Night positions do not rotate.

Floating Requirements: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required
