Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience starting IVs required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous law enforcement patient care preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric med/surg patients with a variety of conditions and diagnoses under the Family Medicine service. Department of Corrections patients from various DOC facilities in Wisconsin; may have 0-10 DOC patients at any given time. Unit includes a locked wing with double door for DOC patients. Staff are always accompanied by a DOC officer while assisting DOC patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night 12-hour shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
