Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is required.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Fast-paced general internal medicine unit caring for patients with complex medical diagnoses. Home to the general medicine teaching services within the academic medical center. Provides specialty care for patients with infectious diseases as part of the Special Pathogens program.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night, 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Every other weekend rotation. Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: Float to like units.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
