Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. - Must have at least a 3 or 4 in skill ranking for two of the following specialties: gynecology, urology, plastics, colorectal.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Gynecology and plastics experience preferred. - Flap management preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Cares for patients across gynecology oncology, urology, plastics, and ENT. - Urology population includes urinary diversion surgeries such as neobladder, ileal conduit with urostomy, and Indiana pouch. - Plastics population includes gender-affirming surgeries and free flap reconstruction. - ENT population includes new tracheostomies and airway management. - Frequent flap monitoring, including free flap monitoring after breast reconstruction following mastectomy. - Includes patient and family education following urinary diversion surgeries.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation to be discussed at time of interview; some holidays based on unit need.
Floating Requirements: - May float to other med/surg units.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
