Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Recent inpatient medical-surgical experience required.

Unit Details: Provides inpatient-level nursing care to admitted patients boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting transfer to an inpatient bed. RNs are not expected to take regular Emergency Department patient assignments; the assignment remains within the ED boarder care model. Patients may include telemetry monitoring, IV medications, post-procedural care, or general inpatient medical-surgical needs. Patients may have varying acuity consistent with the RN’s skill set. The role involves collaboration with ED physicians, hospitalists, ICU teams, and inpatient services.

Shift & Scheduling: Night shifts are scheduled Sunday night through Thursday night. Scheduling pattern may include weekdays and/or weeknights based on coverage needs.

Floating Requirements: If departmental or organizational needs change, RNs may be required to temporarily provide care in another unit within their clinical competency and skill set.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
