Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Patient population includes CHF, diabetic patients, end-of-life patients, heart failure, medical patients, and some patients requiring telemetry. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5 on nights. RNs are not required to titrate drips; there are no titratable drips. There are no vents; respiratory therapy monitors BiPAP and CPAP. Nurses must monitor telemetry; a telemetry monitor technician is available 24/7, and Space Lab monitors are used.

Special Requests: Requested time off must be provided at submission.

Shift & Scheduling: RN travelers must work every other weekend; for night shifts, weekends are Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. RN travelers must work every other holiday; for night shifts, holidays are Memorial Day Eve, July 3rd, Labor Day Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements: The clinician will float to 4West (MedSurg) and occasionally to ICU for general overflow patients.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
