Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2320 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to arriving at the facility.

Unit Details: High-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment caring for acute stroke and complex telemetry patients. Frequent neurological assessments, including the NIH Stroke Scale, are performed. The role includes monitoring and interpreting telemetry rhythms and responding to changes in real time. Primary and team nursing models are used. The unit has frequent admissions, discharges, and patient flow activity.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
