Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.
Unit Details: Cares for geriatric and adult med-surg/telemetry patients. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: While not part of a regular call rotation, may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census; if called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Floating Requirements: May be required to float to West Burlington or Henry County campus at times. Floating is required for any non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.

2 Charge/Lead references required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB
