Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2320 per week.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.
Unit Details: - These positions provide support for the unit during surge. - Patient populations include geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients. - Telemetry ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other holiday rotation is required. - Overtime may be available. - The traveler is not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler must respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
Floating Requirements: - The traveler may be required to float to the West Burlington or Henry County campus at times. - Floating is required in ACU and is always required for non-critical care inpatient units, including the Emergency Department when there are boarded patients.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
