Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2370 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Cardiac experience required.
New graduates accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least 1 completed travel contract is preferred.

Required Credentials:
Illinois licensure is required at time of offer, in addition to Iowa licensure.

Special Requests:
Any past employee of UnityPoint Health, whether FTE or PRN for the UnityPoint Health float pool, cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UnityPoint Health (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details:
Common drips on Med1 include heparin, Cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Unless the unit is closed, the contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission
