Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2540 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials: A driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam is required during onboarding, with a minimum passing score of 80% and only two attempts permitted; it must be updated every 3 years. Ascension Specialty Exam is required during onboarding, with a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts are allowed, and it must be updated every 3 years. Ascension Core Competencies are required during onboarding and cover HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; a minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization is required, with only 2 attempts allowed; they must be updated every 3 years.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. A clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on their driver’s license to receive the travel rate.

Unit Details: The unit serves surgical, GI, and oncology patients.
