Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2660 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of Neuro experience required. Strong neuro experience is required. Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, CVA, pre/post-neurosurgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.

Special Requests: RTO must be <5 days, or time must be added to the end of the contract.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Neuro/stroke patient population includes CVA, laminectomy, post-craniotomy, and brain injury patients. Cases include vascular surgeries, multilevel back surgeries, CABG, and ECMO. The unit takes 4 stroke patients and 1 Med/Surg patient.

Shift & Scheduling: You must work weekends and generally just be very flexible. Schedule options include alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week or straight 4x12s; straight 3x12 schedules are not offered. No call. At least 2 of 3 holidays are required. Mardi Gras scheduling will be discussed with the manager.

Floating Requirements: You must be willing to float.

4 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
