Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2920 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with heparin required.

Special Requests: Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers. Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, no matter which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: Types of patients/surgeries include Neuro/Ortho and Med-Surg.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift may be 3x12 or 4*12. Every other weekend. No call. Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day).

Floating Requirements: Floating is required to other med-surg units. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
