Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have majority of cardiac experience (heavy cardiac unit). - Must have 1 year of Tele, IMC/Stepdown RN experience. - Must have drip experience.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. - Previous Marshfield employees must have an end date at least 6 months before submission. - Block scheduling may be accommodated but is not always guaranteed.
Unit Details: - Patient ratios: average 1:5 day/evening; 1:5-7 nights (average 6; must be okay with 7 patients). - Up to 75% of patients can be cardiac, including pre/post caths, pre-CABG, chest pain, NSTEMIs, and other procedural cardiac cases; also sees CHF, COPD, pneumonia, diabetes, dialysis, altered mental status, nephrology, hematology, wounds, and overflow strokes. - RNs titrate drips; common titratable/set-rate drips include insulin, heparin, nitro, diltiazem, and lasix. - Tele techs are stationed elsewhere and provide 24/7 monitoring; nurses have a monitor on the unit to check rhythms. - Charge RN generally has patients but not a full assignment so they can serve as a resource. - Nurse aides available; average 1:9 day/evening and 1:14 nights if full. - RT/equipment includes continuous CPAP and BiPAP, high flow, Vapotherm, nebs, and chest PT; no vents.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). - Every other holiday. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Floats generally to other Med/Surg floors; float rotation is used for fairness. May need to float outside the Med/Surg cluster, especially for a patient observer 1:1 need; if the clinician has other specialty experience, they may float there.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
