Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• 24 months of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Special Requests: - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Floating Requirements: - May float to other units or downtown.
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Required Skills/Experience: Gastrointestinal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Endocrine /Metabolic, Work Settings, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Neurological/Psychiatric, Orthopedics. Travel Experience Required: No, if they have 3 years of previous Med/Surg experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Bariatric surgery, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Total joint replacement. Community Hospital Experience.
