Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Non-invasive airway management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Telemetry, Telemetry Oncology, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band.
Required Credentials: Cert: NIH Acceptable Providers: APEX, AHA, AACME, Blue Cloud.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month.
Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other Weekend.
