Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $3330 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with IVs, drains, ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and electronic health records required. Required Skills/Experience: Intermediate care background required.

Special Requests: Previous Marshfield employment must be disclosed in the submission; prior Marshfield workers must have an end date at least 6 months before submission. Special Requests: Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Special Requests: Resume must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level if applicable, patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. Special Requests: Block scheduling is not guaranteed, but every effort is made to provide block schedules whenever possible, especially for night shifts.
Unit Details: Nurse:patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:6 on nights. Unit Details: Cares for abdominal surgeries, ear/nose/throat surgeries, complex wounds, and general medical patients. Unit Details: RNs titrate heparin and, infrequently, insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, and nitro drips. Unit Details: Tele/monitor techs monitor rhythms and notify nurses of concerns; RNs are not required to read their own telemetry strips, and there is a monitor on the unit for viewing patient rhythms. Unit Details: Charge nurse takes a smaller assignment; agency staff are not required to work charge. Unit Details: Nurse aides are available with ratios of 1:8 on days and 1:14 on nights. Unit Details: Uses CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, and occasional tracheostomy care; no vents.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday. Shift & Scheduling: No call. Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements: Float on a rotation to other med/surg units if the unit is overstaffed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
