Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
• 12 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: excellent physical assessment and documentation skills, experience caring for acute care stroke patients, time management skills, well developed critical thinking skills, well established A.I.D.E.T behaviors, knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs, HAIs
Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemo experience is a plus
Shift & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends
Floating Requirements: will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units
10 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
