Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Surgical nursing experience with telemetry. - Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Bariatric experience preferred.
Unit Details: - High-churn surgical population. - Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, and urology. - Equipment includes specialty bariatric beds, wound vacs, Prevena vacs, Baxter IV pumps, and Omnicell; transitioned from Cerner to Epic as of 5/1/26. - Ultrasound IV team available 7 AM-10 PM; nurses can get assistance with IVs as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Float required to all inpatient units.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
