Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Preferred 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Shift & Scheduling: 5/2 scheduling Need to be available to work over the holidays.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have solid experience as an RN
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 or more years experience preferred for this Small Critical Care facility.
Required Credentials: Fingerprint requirement: In person process can be printed in Jackson or Grenada MS the week prior to start (48 hr turn around). Remote process up to 10 days needed for processing. Flu vaccine is required at UMMC - only medical exemption is allowed and requires documented evidence from a health care provider of a past severe reaction to the vaccine.
Special Requests: Housing is scarce. Please check on housing early in the process.
Floating Requirements: RN will possibly float from CCU to Stepdown and Med-Surg. May have to see Peds patients occasionally if they float Med Surg.

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
