Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Phlebotomy competency required. IV placement competency required. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias. Use of rapid response teams. Peripheral line care/management. Nasal cannula. Oxygen face masks. Portable oxygen tank. Non-invasive airway management. Isolation precautions.
Special Requests: Open to accommodating block schedule: They will try but not guaranteed. RTO Restrictions: No holiday RTO - please no more than 7 days.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiac and stroke patient population. Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in). PCTs on all units perform vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living. Uses hoyer lifts.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float within scope to MS, ICU, and ED.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
