Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• 12 months of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - ECU Health (Vidant Health).

Additional Details:
Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Required skills/experience: Must pass Telemetry List B.
Required credentials: IV Insertion. Relias exams required to pass upon booking- 2 attempts. If the second attempt is failed, this will result in a pre-start cancellation.
Shift & schedule requirements: Flexible scheduling options with self-scheduling based on unit needs and manager needs.
Floating requirements: ED, Med Surg, ICU
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 references required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
