Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele and Tele experience required. Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring on the unit, and use of rapid response teams. IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips. Feeding tube care and management experience required. Experience with patients with renal failure required. Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs. Heparin protocols and titration of vasoactive drips. CVA experience required. Experience with total joint replacements required. External CPAP/BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management, and tracheostomy management. Isolation precautions and wound care/wound vac.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience preferred.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Discuss block schedule requests with manager. Discuss time off requests with manager.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Common patient population includes CHF, COPD, UTI, pneumonia, cellulitis, pancreatitis, pyelonephritis, small bowel obstruction, falls, fractures, rehabilitative needs, extensive wounds, and long-term IV antibiotics. Unit care includes wound vacs, wound dressings, central lines (PICCs, Port-A-Caths), blood transfusions, and long-term IV antibiotics.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: If low census, will float within skill level.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
