Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Special Requests: - If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks. - Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Cares for patients with CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, ortho, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis. - Unit exposure includes stable open heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU (typically day 4-5 post op), peritoneal dialysis, cardiac disease, stroke, joint replacements, observation, and fast turnaround patients. - Could care for COVID patients. - Uses Artisight (virtual nurses) and virtual sitters. - Patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:5 weekends. - Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.
Shift & Scheduling: - RTO: Max 7 days. - Every other weekend. - Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: - Will float to all MS floors, including 3South (stroke patients) and 4East (peritoneal dialysis), and potentially rehab.
