Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team, Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, with the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions. Experience in oncology-specific procedures such as chemotherapy administration and brachytherapy. Oncology experience preferred but not required, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias; Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry; Respiratory: Tracheostomy care/management
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology: Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy; Medications: PCA; Additional Skills: Administer Chemo, drain management
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics, The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various cancers, including endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers. Endometrial cancer, Bladder cancer, Renal cancer, Ovarian cancer, Cervical cancer, Hysterectomy, Cystectomy
Equipment Used on Unit: Epidurals, PCA pumps, NG tubes, Foley catheters

Special Requests: No set or blocked scheduling; self-schedule requests are accommodated to ensure a balance of preferences while meeting unit requirements
Shift & Scheduling: D/N Rot option available, If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. Weekends are variable based on unit needs.
