Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 60 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 6 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
• Acute care experience is required.• Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <100 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Cross Country Program - The University of Vermont Health Network

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 5 years’ of med surg tele experience OR 3 years of tele experience. Must have completed 2 travel assignments in 300+ bed facilities OR have previous experience at any UVMHN acute care facility. Clinical Experience: 2 years Minimum.
Unit/Facility Details: NG tube insertion, peripheral IV insertion, telemetry strip interpretation all done by bedside.
Shift & Scheduling: A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Monday to Sunday. With option to pick up extra 8’s Rotation Schedule. Holiday Requirements: yes. Assignment for 16-32 weeks
Floating Requirements: Describe the rotation: floating happens infrequently.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
